Mod Multiverse is a game modding site created for mod developers. Mods for every game, even those that aren't moddable!Mod Multiverse aims to provide mods for every game, while protecting the mod developer's work from theft.
No longer will a modder have to live in fear that the content they stole from another game will be stolen and have credit taken for their copying and pasting.
This is achieved by protecting the mod on three levels:
Files
File are protected using de facto mod locking systems. But these can be defeated. So we supplement them with our proprietary system.SecuMOD
SecuMOD provides undefeatable levels of protection. Even the NSA keeps begging us to implement a backdoor. (We won't. Promise.)
The file is protected in the following ways:
- File Encryption
- Files are encrypted with 1,024 rounds of AES with a 4,096 bit key, followed by 512 rounds of ChaCha with a 1,024 bit key.
- Anti-Tamper
- Attempting to reverse engineer, debug, dump, rip, screen capture or do virtually anything other than play the game will result in the game crashing. The mod deleting itself. Ransomware being installed onto the system. Your porn collection and any/all nudes being forwarded to your family, friends, boss, co-workers, teacher, classmates.
- Monitoring
- Undisclosed monitoring will be performed by the MSA to ensure that files are not being misused.
Downloads
Downloads are protected by layering authentication and by verifying the identity of the downloader. The following are required for someone to download a mod:- An account
- A linked Steam/Origin/Uplay/Epic account (depending on the game)
- A linked Discord account
- A linked Patreon account (with subscription to any membership level)
- A linked PayPal account
- A copy of your birth certificate
- A photo/scan of a passport/drivers licence/government ID card
- Your credit history
- Your bank details
- Any credit card details
Beyond
But once the protected file is downloaded, people can still upload it elsewhere and claim it as theirs!WRONG! One final step is required before you can download mods.
A small chip needs to be implanted between the brainstem and spinal cord.
